Charla Pettingill was born and raised in the foothills of the Great Smoky Mountains in East Tennessee. She earned her B.F.A. and M.A. in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design in Savannah, Georgia.

Charla is now an internationally-published illustrator and designer based in Atlanta, Georgia. She creates elegant, lively, and colorful artwork using both watercolor and digital media. She is currently available for freelance illustration and is seeking representation by an illustration agent.
